Roundtable Discussion on Navigating Social Security for a Sustainable Future
ASLI, in partnership with HEYA Inc, co-hosted a roundtable discussion themed "Economic & Safety-net: Navigating Social Security for a Sustainable Future." This event brought together government representatives, think tanks, CSOs, researchers, academicians, and student bodies to have a discussion on social security reforms in Malaysia.
Key topics included the implementation of targeted subsidies, enhancements to the PADU platform, challenges within the gig economy, and the sustainability of retirement funds. The roundtable provided a platform for a dialogue aimed at refining current implementations and enhancing communication about governmental reforms.
