Closing the Gap, Raising the Bar
At the recent “Doing Business with Finland” seminar, ASLI CEO Danial Rahman took the stage to unpack the newly launched Malaysia Education and Higher Education Plans 2026-2035.
Speaking to a diverse group of business owners and international partners, he emphasised that the next decade of education is about a fundamental shift: moving from producing job seekers to nurturing job creators and resilient, future-ready talent.
He shared that the new roadmap is anchored in a clear aspiration: developing “Nation Builders Anchored in Humanity and Driven by Purpose” . This vision aims to balance academic excellence with strong values, ensuring no student is left behind.
He further highlighted that “Closing the Gap” and “Raising the Bar” requires a collective effort—focusing on advanced TVET competencies, digital proficiency, and sustainability to ensure Malaysia remains globally competitive.
In a rapidly evolving world, education must be more than just formal learning; it must be a lifelong journey that empowers individuals to lead with impact.
Thank you to the Embassy of Finland for the invitation.
